$ 75.00 equipment bundle if needed pump action shotgun, 20 rounds of 12/20 GA buckshot, eye and ear protection)

3 hours (60 minutes in class, 90 minutes instruction on range, 30 minutes qualification)

PURPOSE:

This course is intended for BEGINNERS with little or no experience, who wish to learn how to properly operate a shotgun,
to safely act in a gun range and the concepts and application of marksmanship.  The successful candidate will receive a
Beginner Shotgun Class Completion Certificate.

AREAS OF FOCUS:

• Firearm safety

• Range safety

• Identification of parts of shotgun and their proper operation

• Grip and stance fundamentals;

• Proper sight alignment and sight picture

• Marksmanship

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

• Shotgun (semi-automatic or pump).    

• 20 shells of 00 buck or slug ammunition (no bird shot/target load).            

• Hearing and eye protection.
